The first Wednesday of the month is open for anyone to participate in, all other operations require the completion of SOTT Basic in order to participate.
Our current operation schedule is listed below:
All of our events are "one life" operations. This means that once you go down and you are at the give up/respawn screen, you will spectate the rest of the round in the squad spectator camera. Each session consists of 2 rounds, allowing every player to experience both sides of the scenario.
Joining is simple and fast. The first step is to register on our official forums and fill out all the required areas. Next, simply navigate to the events page to register for an event. On the day of the event, join the Pre-Operation voice channel at least 20 minutes before the scheduled start. If you are on the reserves list, the same instructions should still be followed as there is a good chance you will still be able to attend the event. Server information will be provided after roll call by a member of staff.
The Squad Ops Tactics and Training (SOTT) team operates the Basic, Advanced, and Specialist courses. We run at least one basic course a week, and often run a few advanced or specialist courses each month. Operating these courses is done at the availability of staff, so keep an eye on the calendar for newly posted SOTT courses. If you have any questions, please ping @SOTT in the #sott_help text channel in our discord.
To register for a SOTT Course, all you need to do is register for a SOTT event on the calendar. On the day of the training session, an instructor will make an announcement telling you to join the Pre-SOTT Voice Channel, and from there you will be dragged into the SOTT channel and given further instructions
